Mr Sheep, can we pick your brain for a sec? Thank you.
This event is rather special, courtesy of Saudara Rahim Al-Makki's (a Malaysian) invitation to his sister's wedding celebration in Mecca, arab-style.

We were told that a typical Arabian dinner celebration would start from after Isya' right until Fajr (Subuh), with the meal not uncommonly served after midnight! A standard feast would be "bukhari", which was wonderfully served in this particular event. The majority of the attendees were Tabung Haji staff based in Jeddah.

That night, we played Ian Wright from Lonely Planet. Hidden underneath the mountain of bukhari rice on our tray was a cute sheep's head, all decapitated and cooked. Its tongue tasted very rich while its brain (only after the skull was opened using a special technique by the deft hands of Haji Abdul Rahman), well, I would only say tasted a bit iffy and undescribably strange....

All in all, it was an excellent new experience for us. One we wouldn't feel sheepish to talk about.
